Wow, thanks so much everyone!
I've been working all day and hadn't been paying much attention to the day (birthdays are sort
of weird for me anymore....)

I guess the post I made on my FB page this morning pretty much sums it up:
If I had actually expected to make it to 60,
I'd have taken better care of myself....

Too damn late now!

Today is also international left-handers day (yep, I "R" one), so congrats to all my fellow lefties
out there!
Oh, and before anyone thinks about it ..... NO, I wasn't born on a Friday the 13th (it was a Sunday).
Thanks again everyone! I really appreciate it.

Again, THANK YOU to everyone who took time to post in this thread. I really DO appreciate it to no end.

We spent a little time downtown with Fred this evening for a monthly cruise-in and boy, was it HOT and sticky!
After running around all over the countryside today for work already, I didn't have a whole lot of tolerance
for the heat so when storms started heading in, we high-tailed it out of there and got home just in time.
We had a wonderful dinner at a local restaurant/bar we'd been meaning to try out, too.
Even found a little shade for Fred:

This sort of heat + humidity takes the life right out of a fella, so of course I fell dead asleep in the chair
when we got home.
Ah, getting older...
