Well said Doug. Good Friday is a Day to Reflect, Abstain, and Give Thanks, for what 1 MAN sacrificed, to SAVE The Human Race. How many of Our World Leaders are practicing that today...Good Friday and a thoughtful weekend to all. No better time than now to think about you life.

Yes, who could ever forget that! My dad was stationed at Elmendorf at the time, but we couldn’t get base housing until after the earthquake. Were you an adult or a dependent then?Elmendorf.. I see you got the reference...

I recall that we arrived in 61 and left in 65 (maybe?). I was about 8 at the time of the earthquake. Small world huh?I was six... We had to wait for base housing too... We got up there in 61 & left in 66...
