Thought it was time to introduce myself, been reading and watching FBBO for a while now. I enjoy the content and can see the knowledge on here.
Growing up with my older brother tearing up the streets with his 68 charger definitely moved my likes into mopars. Him having a charger, figured I would have something different, so my likes landed on a 70 RR/GTX.
So this brings me to now, purchased parts and cars when I thought they were a good deal when starting out and through the years. Haven’t had lots of time to work on things, but hoping that will change as time goes on.
Plan for this year is to work out some of the things on my 70 GTX Hemi car and drive it. Body is a bit rough, but that’s ok for now. Bought the car with 383 in it and Hemi and crossmember as part of the deal. Engine was supposed to be rebuilt, but was a terrible job on inspection. Friend owns an engine machine shop and went through engine. Decided then to put a car in world of wheels in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. So spent the next 3 weeks to get the car together and entered it in the barn find section. Was a lot of fun and my way to introduce the car to my city.

Welcome! That’s a great GTX there. Thanks for the photos. How’s the interior looking? At or manual? Console?

Welcome from Alabama, nice find. Plenty of help here, but you're pictures show you seem to have it under control.

You’re happy to start the new year - I’m happy to piss on the old one and say good riddance. Nice car and welcome to the Brotherhood.

Welcome to FBBO from New Zealand.....by a former '70 GTX owner.

Welcome to FBBO from down south a ways! Great project you've got there. Owning a hemi is still a dream of mine. Congratulations on getting yours!

Thanks everyone! It’s a buckets console automatic. Alpine white with black interior, vinyl roof and stripe car. It is also a 4:10 Dana car. So happy it has power disk brakes. Has a 3:54 Dana in it at moment. Don’t have interior pics on me, but it’s not terrible. I did buy legendary interior seat covers, pads, dash pad and a carpet I’m going to install and Plan on dropping engine out in near future, clean up the engine bay a bit and put the power steering back in. History on car is the powertrain from engine to diff was taken out and replaced with a 69 383 auto some time in the 70’s. So got enough to put a 426 back in and together. But not original engine trans and diff. Car is stored in a shop my brother and I have been fixing up. But only see it on weekends. Will get interior pics next weekend.

Hey,, from Boston. Great car right there. Love the 70!

And I see it has perhaps the coolest hood ever put on a car - the Air Grabber! Welcome from another former '70 GTX with Air Grabber owner (my very first car when I was in HS)!

Welcome from Missouri!!
