Harley and the Davidsons

The show was very entertaining. Great props and vehicles. It looked like they kept repainting the C-cab delivery truck for various scenes. Budwieser bottles were wrong though (I'm a beer can collector and have some of the first Bud cans)

I liked it a lot.

Albeit so,
It was a good story about an American Company and the struggles they went through to stay alive...And yes, I drink Budweiser.
We can all nit-pick everything, that being said, with the Low Budget they had and being a 3 day mini series, I personally enjoyed it.
Now: Yes I rode Harley's in the early to mid 70s, I lived the "Fringe Life, so to speak at the time"
No, I'll never buy another one (unless it's a vintage pre-50)
No, Harleys can not do 170 mph like my Yamaha R1 could do OR 155 mph like my Ducati 996 Superbike could do....
And yes, I have contacted "Kiwi Indian Mike" here in So Cal, he is keeping his eyes open for me cuz I wish to purchase a Vintage (early 30s) Indian.
I personally enjoyed the show!
"peace out"

I found it to be a good show. I found the WW1 segment interesting personally, the part where they "factory trained" army personnel on how to repair the bikes. That part was true, my grandfather was one of them After training he was sent to France as a training officer, taught new troops how to ride and repair the bikes, many of whom never been on a motorcycle. The part about having loyal Harley riders coming back was right as well, my grandfather was a die hard Harley man after that. Married my grandmother and moved to New Mexico from Missouri on a Harley with a side car. Didn't have a car till my mother came along. Wish he had saved that Harley in the barn for his grandson!

I also thought the Bud conaitiers looked a little too modern.

Yes,
I have seen some old Budweiser bottles and yes, they are different than todays
But I personally LOVE Budweiser!
Makes me want to have a couple of them tonight

Mid 30s Budweiser Bottle
It looks close enough for me!
