...that the "Hot Wheels" font is very similar to the "Super Bee" font? LOL

No, not until you just pointed it out 
Maybe because, fonts were like TV stations back then... There was only a couple to choose from

***EDITED: Turns out Hot Wheels was May of 1968, the first Bee was a '68 model, so it was actually built in 1967. It was a cool time!

I read a thread here recently where a guy has the first super bee made in 1967 , so you guys are all wrong , the bee came first

What I like about that pic is that a kid really play with that toy not keep it in the original box, that toy made a kid happy cool.

I think It was the era...look at the Monkeys for example and many other albums from 60s..many had similar font.

I liken the font to the bell bottom pants of the time. Like the pants, I think the font was meant to equate with youth. JMO
