I bought them as a joke, but they actually used them in Europe and converted them to ventilators. It is actually a snorkeling mask. Haha

My wife brought me one home the other day. Seems a local charity was making them to try
and raise enough funds to remain solvent during these times...
It's safely in my desk drawer, where it will remain unless I need it for painting or some such
around the house; it'll never leave the premises on my face, guaranteed.

Seen the article, were a doctor in china said the face mask won't protect you fully? He said they found out early on that the virus can enter through the eyes easily, hence the face shielding. But that's in the situation where people would be coughing in your face i suspect. Wonder if social distancing handled that. Cdc who all guessing their way through this.

They also figured out that the countries that imposed mandatory face masks in public had a lower virus curve than those that don't. I say open up everything and impose a mandatory face mask policy until this is under control.

We have The mandatory public face mask deal in LA. I’m sure it’s helping somewhat. Beaches are all closed completely. No easing of restrictions yet. I may have to get one of these snorkel masks.....
