I'm about to tear into my 70 coronet 500 vert... again. The headlights, brake lights and turn signals do not work. I have power to the light switch on two of the terminals, and when I check the switch, the first position sent power to one of the other two posts on the switch, and when rocked to the 2nd position nothing changes, still just power through to the one other post.
I've cleaned the bulkhead terminal blocks and checked power through the fuses. Everything seems to be grounding fine. Everything in pretty good shape really.
Is there a good way to bypass the switch with a jumper or two on the switch terminal block? How can I test the switch in each position?
Anything those three different things have in common that I should check out?
I acquired this car with the problem. I have checked the headlights, that they aren't blown but none of the other bulbs. The parking lights turn on when the switch is rocked in the first and second position.
