got my new headliner for the 69 Bee.

checked out the way it is attached, does the windsheild seal need to come out? Doesnt look like it does. Seems to be held in the front by a bunch of toothy things.
 
Removing the windshield makes it a little easier to install, but you don't have to.
 
those "teeth" help keep the headliner tight when you install the bows.They also hold the fabric from sagging down after so long.The trim moldings can't do that.
