Yes, I know a pickup isn't a B-body. But it's mechanicals and electricals are similar...

Anyways my daily driver is a single cab 1982 Dodge Ram D-350. No A/C. Over the past year, the heater blower motor only works on the lowest setting... what should I start diagnosing? I'm not an electrical guru at all. I'm stumped. Thanks all, - David

usually the high side of the fan switch will melt, sometimes I've had the switch go bad, but sometime the plug to the switch will melt. other models used the same switch, vans, cars from the '80s to the early '90s.

Alright I'll check that out. Thanks for the help

I think I have a switch if you can not find a new one. If you only have the low setting the fan resistor should be ok. It will resort to high if it goes bad.
Your switch chrome or black?

I believe it's black. I'll go take some pictures and post them here.

Ok here's the switch.
