I did a search and couldn't find an answer to my question. If it has been answered before I apologize. I have a set of 1 3/4 Hedman headers I want to install on my 1968 Charger which is 383 , power steering , 4spd with 11 inch clutch. These headers came off a 1968 Coronet 440 non power steering , 4 spd with 11 inch clutch. These are supposed to work with power steering, so my question is, will I have an issue because of the 11 inch clutch ? Just curious if there would be clearance issues down towards collector area. Any info would be greatly appreciated and would save me a lot of time.

The bodies/bellhousing are the same, so the clutch clearance should be fine. The only question you have is, "Will it clear the power steering in my '68 Charger?". Looking at the driver's header, it sure looks like it will clear. Also, I'm running 1-5/8" Hedman 1-piece headers and when I added power steering I had no clearance issues at all.

Thank you for the reply. From the other threads I have read I figured it should fit with power steering . At least that's what others have posted. As for the clutch housing issue , a friend of mine brought that up, so I figured I would ask. I wasn't sure. Thanks again.
