I could use a lead on purchasing a set of stage III heads for my 1964 Max Wedge motor, also need the original intake. Anyone know of or have a set for sale?

Mancini ….. Kramers ……may be sources you would want to check out, or posting Want Ads in the appropriate section. …..

Thank you. I've look through both these sites and a few others, great options for aftermarket head selections, but having a hard time finding original. I've toyed with the idea of aluminum heads from a performance view. My goal is to build as close to OEM as possible. The car was purchased with a Street Wedge, still not sure if the block is set up for Max Wedge, the block casting is 2406730, any idea if the conversion to a max is possible without pulling the head off and looking at the deck to see if it is machined for the larger exhaust valves?

We don't really get into the "Furry" stuff here... This might not be the right place for that sort of discussion....

Good luck with your search for heads for your "Furry"
