Welcome onto the site!
I suggest starting a "Build" thread on the member project forum, post a bunch of pics of what you have to start with and what ideas you might have and sit back and read all of the "opinions". Great source for technical info and links to sources for parts and such.
Not sure you want to go to as much depth as I did but you can see my build thread as an idea source on there...look for "B Body Stiffening" several pages deep I imagine.
