hello everybody!

Welcome to the FBBO forum, you have a couple of nice cars there, love them 6BBL's

Hey! Just jumped in here myself-NOW I remember what I miss about IN- sure as hell ain't the winters...lol. Sweet rides-lots of hours there fixing where the tin mites fed.

jim, whats wrong with shoveling snow, chopping ice, and busting your butt in the winter? i wouldn't know how to act if there wasn't a mess outside in january. actually the 69 r/t is a rust free car. the 65 coronet came out of southern california and had one minor corrosion spot.

I'll think of you about Christmas when I'm sitting on the patio in a t-shirt---(but we won't mention 114' heat- "dry heat" my butt, it's still Hot!)

Just curious- what part of Indy-no-place do you live in? I used to live in Franklin Park (edgewood ave)- fond memories of cruisin' Madison Ave back in the 70's. Greenwood was fun too 'til the cops got silly about it.

actually i'm a little south of indy. i remember the cruising from the early '60's to early 70's. cars were everything. hamburgers and rock&roll. when i was 14 i used hitch hike to school. there used to be a guy who would pick me up in a 62 impala 409horse 409 4spd. better than a ride on the space shuttle for a 14yr old hot rod kid. i remember cruising both the teepee's, north and south, the pole on the west side, and the burger joint-drive-in's on east 10th. when i sold my 68 road runner, bought it new, it had 55600 miles on it. 600 miles for a round trip to nashville tenn and 55000 miles smoking the tires. america was a lot free'er in those days.
