Hey,

Im Dillon from Alberta, Canada.
Just purchased my first classic car. A 1967 Coronet 500. Originally a 383 car but previous owner put in a 440 with a TF727 Trans.
Lots to learn but the mechanics background helps a lot. Carburetors are new to me! They were way obsolete by the time I went through the trade.
Cheers and happy to be here.

Welcome to FBBO from Ontario, from another '67 Coronet owner, Dillon. Mine is an R/T, with 440 and 727. Thanks for your picture, and enjoy your car.

My first car was a '67 coronet.. love them soo much :)

And carbs are easy... always run a fuel filter and just keep the carb clean and you will pretty much never have issues...

Welcome from Texas!! Carbs are just another piece of mechanical bliss lol. At least you don't need any electronic devices other than a vacuum gauge and a tach to figure out what's wrong with them.....

Welcome from Alberta, Dillon (I'm near Edmonton). Where are you from? Nice Coronet. I'm working on a '70 Charger.

Carbs aren't too much trouble. I've rebuilt my Edelbrock carb a couple times, including last summer where it got a soak in Pine-Sol, fresh gaskets, etc. What carb do you have?
