Newbie here from West Lafayette, IN.

First car was nearly a 70 Cuda w/383 and 4sp. Mom saw the 12-point roll cage and said NO! :angryfire: After I bought a '65 Chevy Impala she said she suddenly realized the roll cage would have probably been pretty safe.

I've decided to begin in earnest for that project Mopar. Any '70 Cuda I could afford is beyond my abilities. Always liked the looks of the B-bodies so that's where I'm headed. I've been a lurker on this site for a while.

Thanks for listening and sharing all or your insights.
Cheers!

Mike

welcome to FBBO lots of great people here

Hi Mike, welcome. Hope you find a good b-body! Looking forward to it...

Welcome to the board. I live just down the road from you in Frankfort. If you have time on Saturday, there is a Mopar only car show at 9 Irish Bros on east side of Lafayette. If it doesn't rain, I'm bring my '69 RR.

Hi Mike and welcome from Minnesota.

welcome to FBBO from NorCal

Thanks, guys. Hey, Vitamin, I'll look for you at 9Irish!
Have to get an excursion out of the garage first. Already looking at a belvedere and 2different satellites.

Welcome!
Good luck on the hunt.
Maybe fly it by here first w/some pix.
Lots of knowledgeable folks that are happy to help get the best B u can afford....

The first car I found to buy was a 52 Ford 2dr sedan for 50 bucks back in the mid 60's. I liked Mopars back then but this car was straight as an arrow with no rust. Bad points was faded paint (but all one color), bad interior and it smoked. It was a flat head V8 and 3 speed. Dad nixed that idea and said he wasn't going to have any junkers in his driveway. Found out later that he hated Fords and yet he liked the the 30's model A's. Go figure. Welcome to the site....
