thanks, mine had 2 build sheets in it, 1 for my car in the the upper part of the rear seat and 1 for another car in the lower springs of the back seat, but vin doesnt match yours, just taking a chance !
Wow you are correct! The VIN on the build sheet does not match the VIN on the car. I wonder if that makes it more unique?
Doesn’t make your car unique. Like I said, they got switched on the line in the factory quite often.
If the VIN on the sheet is RM23U2G156159 then I know that car still exists. There’s always the chance it has your broadcast sheet under its seat. If you can track down the owner I’m sure they’d love to have the correct b-sheet and you might get yours as well.
Agreed, I mistyped it. I know the car for VIN RM23U2G158159 still exists (or at least it did about 10 years ago).Looks more like 158159View attachment 819042
Hi butterscotch71, I have a build sheet for a 1972 roadrunner RM23. I got it with my satellite purchase along with it's original. How can I find the owner? He or she might like to have it unless it has been crushed. The VIN will be listed on the top line in the yellow box (middle of the line). Should match your dash VIN. It,s not uncommon to have a sheet from a different car. Happened often on the assembly line. I think you have a sheet for a yellow road runner GTX that I have recorded in my database last seen in Ohio about 10 years ago.
Love your car. I’d keep it appearing as is!
