Nice ride! You have come to the right place. Welcome.
You may want to post the build sheet VIN here. Someone may be looking for it.

BTW....mine started life very similar to your car. I'll trade you my black interior for your white any day. Here she is now.

I'm gonna look around for maybe a second build sheet. Thanks for the tip!

Wow you are correct! The VIN on the build sheet does not match the VIN on the car. I wonder if that makes it more unique?

Doesn’t make your car unique. Like I said, they got switched on the line in the factory quite often.

If the VIN on the sheet is RM23U2G156159 then I know that car still exists. There’s always the chance it has your broadcast sheet under its seat. If you can track down the owner I’m sure they’d love to have the correct b-sheet and you might get yours as well.

Welcome aboard from Ohio.

Welcome from the show me state!!

I lived on Baker Road in Castro Valley circa 1983, now I have a '72 Satellite Sebring Plus like you do (picked it up in Fresno a few years ago-restoration almost complete now). Parents had a '71 Road Runner special ordered from the dealer back then. Welcome to the forum.

The VIN will be listed on the top line in the yellow box (middle of the line). Should match your dash VIN. It,s not uncommon to have a sheet from a different car. Happened often on the assembly line. I think you have a sheet for a yellow road runner GTX that I have recorded in my database last seen in Ohio about 10 years ago.

Love your car. I’d keep it appearing as is!
Hi butterscotch71, I have a build sheet for a 1972 roadrunner RM23. I got it with my satellite purchase along with it's original. How can I find the owner? He or she might like to have it unless it has been crushed.
