Hello from Minneapolis

Welcome aboard from NJ. Car looks and sounds like it's in good condition. Best of luck with it!

Figured I'd drop more pics here, a couple people want to see more. This is as-found, lots of trash and stuff.

Pics show an Edelbrock carb on stock manifold, it never worked right the prior owner said. Manifold is stock, so the Edelbrock needed a spacer to bolt up, otherwise the choke would hit the very-smog-era intake boss where the old choke widget was.
I was having trouble too, so I bought a ThermoQuad (I know, I know, but I needed to get it running so I was thinking 'back to stock for now'). That actually worked, though I was struggling with the choke setup since I cannot find a correct OEM style choke setup with the little arm and everything. Got it running for about 10 minutes and then the radiator cracked, yay!

So, swapping in a new radiator -- the old one was not only cracked, but the top of it looks like it's been hammered on a little bit. Just decided to go new. I also want to yank the AC compressor, the kid had pulled all the other AC stuff off of it, so that's just a 40lb lump of metal that's eating horsepower through parasitic drag.

Welcome from a fellow Minnesotan who has
taken up residence in New Mexico. Miss the
fishing, but not the cold.

Just so you know the factory wheels on your car are rally wheels so they are probably original.. The Daytonas came with 15x6.5" rallies which work great as front wheels on lots of cars when matched with 15x8 rears... So don't toss them, they do have some value...

I wouldn't dare! They're sticking around. At some point I'd like to find some SST's or the like, but these rallies look real good.

Welcome from Manitoba, Canada. Love the cordoba chargers. Lol. Looks like a great project. They are super nice driving cars and I love 360’s. Hope your project goes well.
