Hello to all. First time posting on a club website EVER! Call me old school I guess. This internet thing can be a little intimidating to me at times. I think though, I'll get the hang of it.
Just recently purchased a 1964 Dodge Polara Convert. After the purchase, I started to do some research on the internet - you know, just curious about other 64's. Wasn't long before I went down the internet rabbit hole and came across the forbbodiesonly website. Low and behold there's a picture of my new car. Some of you will be familiar with this car as there was an extensive thread on it. And when I say extensive I mean it. I had no idea about this thread. When I purchased this car the owner gave me a lot of information about the car, which I was grateful for, but he didn't tell me about the thread. Holy cow, what a build and what a wealth of information.
Anyhow, now that I own the car, like most other owners of classic cars, I'll make some additions / changes to reflect my tastes. So over the next several months / years I'll be reaching out to you guy's and gal's for your wisdom.
Before hitting the send button on this note, I want to say THANKS to Glenwood for allowing me to be the next custodian of his former car. I know he had his heart and soul into his build.
See attached link for those of you who are interested in the build. http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/threads/can-of-rusty-worms.104526/
I've already done some minor work to the car (complete paint polish), but for the most part I'm just going to drive her and enjoy this summer. The winter is when I plan on doing the more serious items - stay tuned.

Welcome aboard from NJ. It's quite a rare thing to accidentally find a build on car you just bought; unless that info was passed along at time of sale. Best of luck with you new family member! It's beautiful!

Paging @Glenwood ! Your car has returned to the mother ship!

Looks like you're doing fine with this whole forum thing, Charlie.

welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras

Welcome to FBBO from Copenhagen, Ontario, down near London Motorsport Park (Sparta Dragstrip). Nice '64 Polara convertible. As you can see from my avatar, I am a little partial to '64's. Here are pictures of a Polara 500 I used to own.
