Love this site! I was looking for information on how to remove the back seat in my 1966 Dodge Coronet 500. Found a ton of great threads - thank you!
My car:
1966 Dodge Coronet 500 - all numbers matching
383 four-barrel
Console car, white interior
Red exterior with white roof
1967 Magnum 500 wheels (original hubcaps came with the car)
interior still has the dealer installed clear plastic seat covers
I purchased the car from Mr. Lewis in Comox BC. His family was the original owner and the car had been in his family since leaving the dealership in 1966. 69,000 original miles.
The engine was rebuilt by Mr. Lewis along with the rad being rebuilt and the gas tank was replaced.
I have left the car in original condition though I’ve replaced:
Rear leaf springs
Window rubber and whiskers
Shocks and bump stops
Fuel sending unit
Windshield washer reservoir
Battery tray
Rubber body grommets
Hood felt
Gas tank filler tube and vent
Ball joints
Steering box
Fuel lines
