Hello,

Just joined up. Looking to restore my first car. I was always a GM guy, but have really had an interest in having a classic Mopar.

I'm just out of grad school 1.5 years ago, Mechanical Engineering. Always looking to learn new stuff, really hands on and into DIY projects (I feel there is nothing I can't do).

Thanks for reading and for any help/advice I will receive in the future.

Welcome, Having lived in Wisconsin for 45 yrs and been in Texas for the last 5. Do yourself a favor and purchase a car that's not in the snow belt. You won't have as many rust issues to deal with due to all the salt on the roads. The cost in transporting it will suck, but its better than having to replace all that sheet metal.
