New to the forum & new to my charger. im a 23 year old from
Castro Valley, CA & i just picked up this baby 2 weeks ago from Turlock CA. ive had other classic cars before but never a mopar. ive had a 1971 ford torino, 1953 Kaiser Deluxe & a 1979 camaro z28.

now my new car, '66 charger with the original poly 318 w/ auto trans

exterior is pretty straight, no signs of rust. just fading paint on roof, trunklid and hood. flip headlights do not flip, although the lights do work. the chipping paint on the trunklid jambs indicate the original color was silver. but i still have to confirm that by the VIN.

interior is pretty good, seats are not torn. only part of the interior that needs attention is the dash. some cluster lights do light up but all gauges dont work except for the ampmeter. its pretty hacked up in there since previous owner put aftermarket gauges for water temp, oil pressure & fuel gauge. gonna figure out how im gonna fix it.

my plans is to make it looks pretty much factory original with the exception of the engine. poly 318 has got to go haha. thinking of a 360 or a 383 swap but i do not know yet.
