A friend gave me a used toggle switch for his 69 Roadrunner to see if I could determine if it’s good before he installs it. They are kind of painful to change out and right now his cluster is out having the speedometer repaired.
It has what seems to be the 5 typical terminals as they match my 67 service manual - H, R, P, B-1, and B-2.
With switch in off position there is no continuity between terminals.
In the parking light position I have continuity between B-1 and H, and B-2 and R
In the headlights on position I have continuity between B-2 and R, B-2 and P, and R and P
In the possibly very rare chance anyone has messed with tracing out and testing one of these switches, does this sound OK? I assume B-1 is incoming power for parking lights. Not sure what is power for headlights.
Thanks
