Looking for a fuel tank sending unit for my 1978 dodge magnum--new or used---part # 4051145, must be working a in great shape--thanks---pm if u have and how much !!

You may want to try Brad's nos parts. If they don't show the part available online you may want to call them. The sending units on Ebay are generic and they don't differentiate between the two different size tanks that normally came with the B bodies. The single exhaust cars had a bigger tank. I have the smaller tank on my 75 Roadrunner with dual exhaust and I bought one of the sending units off of Ebay. It doesn't read correctly with the smaller tank. I am kind of used to it. Good luck

I went through the same thing on my 78 Magnum. I ended up with a 72 Charger which I rebent slightly. Worked like a champ. Same hose connections, same electrical, just needed a slight bend. Might try that.

Just bend the arm so it reads right rarely does a sender come out of the box accurate....
