Another way is to put the spindle nut back on after the outer bearing is removed, let it get past the outer race until it contacts the inner bearing, give yourself a little slack then yank a couple of times. Both the bearing and seal will come together.
That's the way I do it. Just work the drift around the perimeter while lightly tapping.Get two blocks of wood set the hub down on them face up and use a long drift punch and knock the bearing out and the seal will come with it.
I tried that one but it didn't seem to work and I wasn't sure how much muscle to apply. I originally thought I wanted to reuse the seals but realized I wasn't going to be able to. Getting new ones this morning. Doing it right.
