Help identify transmission

Help decoding my transmission number…C 2408005. 0407556…this was stamped right above the pan on left side …stamped on the side of case ..2400066 tail shaft case 2400065..might have them reversed..and a plate on bottom of tail shaft where park lock would go…thanks

Post these numbers and we'll be able to tell you what it is. Part number is first - usually "PK" and then 7 numerals "xxxxxxx" (occasionally with a trailing letter like "L"); followed by a 4-digit "xxxx" date code and another 4-digit "xxxx" daily build number.

Ahhh - I see. Thought OP was posting casting numbers. My bad.
 
It came out of a friends 63 Plymouth max wedge car…I didn’t know if it’s the original or not..should it have had the park lock on the tail shaft or not ?
 
As noted above it is a 361 transmission, so it would not have been installed in a max wedge car from the factory. I know nothing about the park arrangement on cable shifted transmissions.
