Does anyone know what year this water pump housing might be out of? I am having a hard time finding a temperature sender that fits this smaller sized port. Also, it’s on the driver’s side which seems to be less common. I’ve looked around pretty extensively and can’t figure it out. The casting number is 205882 if that helps. Thank you.

Judging from the location of the heater hose connections on the firewall, I'd guess that the housing is about the correct year for your car. As far as what sender to use, I'm thinking it uses the same one as a 69. Should be a Standard Motor Products TS-17

Oops...what is the connection? Is it a spade, or a bullet? If it's a spade you may need a TS-18. If not you may need an Airtex 1T1010

From here it looks to be an early piece with a 1/4" pipe thread. Also the alternator bracket boss seems to be in the early location too. The later 60's seem to have the 1/8" pipe on the pass side and it points to the front.

Great, I knew I asked the right guys.

I was fairly sure that it's an early housing for the reasons that Meep-Meep said, but the problem is I keep getting the same damn big threaded sender when I try to get it for a 64 anything. Thanks for the part numbers, I looked up a couple of them and they look closer. I'm going to go look at my car tonight and see, I think it's a bullet connection.

That autozone link unfortunately didn't work but I think I get it now.

Thanks!!

You have a 62-63 housing. In 64 they switched to the same casting number but different part numbewr and downsized the pipe thread for sender to 1/8.

I have a correct casting number 2468007 or 2205862 housing I will sell you.

You got my email.

autozone link

I just clicked on it not being logged on FBBO and it came up. Anyway, the part # is TU-22 and it's bullet style. 1968 used the same sender. What car are you looking to use this on? May or may not be correct resistance. The thread size will not determine that.

Thanks red. Let me check my casting number in person I was going from an unclear pic.

The car is a 64 dodge with an water temp light.

Thanks again for the help.
