Help with 194 bulb sockets for 68 charger instrument panel

These are the three twist lock sockets on the gauge circuit board. I've ordered these twice now and they are both too small to fit into the holes. I don't remember this being so hard. What am I missing?

At some point in the late 70s or 80s, they made the sockets smaller--1/8" smaller--but they look exactly the same. Frustrating, indeed. My '66 Plymouth and a '74 Dodge truck we had take 5/8" socket.
