Help with decoding 1966 Charger

Hi all from Australia,I am looking at purchasing a 66 Charger.
the Vin Tag reads F = 383
Fender Tag reads 515 = 361
I am a little confused considering the current owner says its numbers matching
please help

The 1966 factory service manual has an error on engine size VIN digits.

F= 361 and G= 383 are the correct identifiers.

They published a correction memo later.

Note that in 1866 B body cars ALL 361 engines had 2 barrel carbs and ALL 383 engines had 4 barrels.
