HELP!!!!

Working on a 73 charger with BB 383 and having a hard time figuring out what headers will clear the steering gear box. I bought shortys and they hit.... Don't really want long tubes but will if I must... Talk to me guys, I know at least one of you have faced this problem. Thanks in advance for your input.

Hooker long tubes. Are you running a fast ratio pitman arm? If so you will need to put it back to stock. Most headers won’t work on a 73/74 with fast ratio on a RB.

Out of those 2 only this one says it will fit a 73/74

I know hooker headers fit cause I have them on my 74RR. Well not now because the car is in pieces but they used to be on.

I have 73...w/440 used stock HP cast iron...

It's a little bit down the road, but I too will be looking for a good-fitting set of headers for my 3rd gen Charger.. so I appreciate the discussion and the advice.
I know there's no way I'm shelling out TTI money, so I'm already looking at my options.

Shorties have always been the lesser used units. Why no love for the long tubes anyway (op)??
