i paid 6500 for a new 2468330-m hemi block did i get bent over 4.5 bore

DART HEMI Gen 3 Iron Eagle VVT Bare Engine Block seems a tad high for retail.

I don’t think Gen 3’s have a 4.5 inch bore.

That is a Gen II block, not a Gen III block. That seems to be about the going rate for them these days. Pretty comparable to Callies or Bill Mitchell block. Man, I remember when they were like $2400.00 new. I should have bought a couple back then.

Ha, ha: Yes I bought 3 of them in the $2k range but that was 20 years ago. I think new and undiddled with $6500 is fair value today. I like the way they look too, but thats just a personal viewpoint.
