Has anyone else ever seen one of these? I know they weren't factory but I remember years ago a higher up in Chrysler that my dad knew named Kenny Yates had one specially made and I saw it at a car show which is why Im asking here

The Hemi Six Pack is an Australian Chrysler engine. Actually one of the fastest production car ever made in Australia was powered by the Hemi Six Pack. It was a straight six engine with 3 two barrel carburetors that displaced 265 cubes. It was a flame throwin mofo.

You can read about them here:

not the same as what Im talking about ........

What you're talking about never existed. That's what I'm trying to tell you.

Not from the factory. Not in production. All the Hemi ever came with out the door was 2 4 barrels. Over and out.

I KNOW I SAID IT WASNT PRODUCTION

The Chrysler higher up my dad knew was a teacher at Chrysler tech school here in Pittsburgh all I was asking was has anyone ever seen one anywhere else in person

No need to yell. It sounds like something that was specially made for someone in the right place by someone in the right place. Weiand, Offenhauser and Edelbrock all offered six pack intakes for the Hemi at various times. Rest assured it was one of those companies castings. Mopar Performance/Direct Connection/Hustle Stuff never offered anything that they cast themselves. More than likely it was Edelbrock, since it was they who offered the six pack for the early 440 engines.

Totally true that the 426 Hemi never came from the factory with a six pack intake. There were however; a few Chrysler prototypes floating around the Detroit area for many years. I know of 3 and it's said that there are 7 or so out there. There is a local collector that has been buying them up. The ones that I know had problems leaning out.
KID

That's right. There were also a few sets of 340 Hemi heads cast. Imagine that for a minute. Yeah. Stop and think about how many big blocks that wouldda totally shut down. lol As if the 340 didn't do it like it was. There was all kinda experimental and one or few off things made. Getting the info and evidence to back it up is another thing totally.

...and don't forget those B/RB bolt on hemi heads that were available in the early 90's.

You could have made your own 383 hemi six pack!

theres the intake for it I have seen it in person I know its not factory but it does exist

yep it does exist, here's one custom made too... another from Mopar Performance {photo from Mancini Racing MP-P5153738 $510.95} has the same spacing, linkage, air cleaner, element & carbs used as the 440-6bbl.... never available in factory equipped cars, like you said... there was a company that makes an EFI version too, off the MP manifold, F&B Throttle Bodies, if they are still in business....

I think you could get the "rat roaster cross-ram base" {that had a removeable top like the STR's like example below for the wedges, with a 6bbl/six-pack top too, I remember seeing one, can't remember if it was a prototype or custom top or not, but I do know they were/are out there...
