Question, is there such a thing as a Hemi spark plug tube puller? Barton valve covers and stock tube and o-rings, Edelbrock heads with o-rings. I used silicone grease on the o-rings, sorta had to drive them in. Now difficult to remove.

Do the heads themselves have O-ring grooves built into them or do you have the (blue anodized) Milodon plug tube inserts?
The Edelbrock heads that I have , the groove is machined into the tube bore. Seems like 53 years ago when I helped on a Hemi Cuda race car, there were maybe different o-rings? Long time ago.
Goodson VSP-823 works like a champ
Called Rick last night and this Goodson VSP- 823 is the trick. The tool is actually for pulling valve seals, but Rick says it works great for pulling the plug tubes as well. It's ordered. I'm sure that after the o-rings take a set, they will also be easier to remove.
