In 1948 the four Goldstein brothers, Lowell, Norman, Hiram and Max invented the first automobile air conditioning, so they drove to Detroit and asked Henry Ford to accompany them to the parking lot as they had something that will make Henry millions of dollars. It was 98° in the shade that day and the car was black. Henry got in the car which by now was well over 100° inside. Lowell hit the A/C button on the dash and in a few minutes the interior of the car was cold. Henry said I'll give you 3 million dollars for your invention. SOLD said Lowell under one condition, you put "Air Conditioning by The Goldstein Brothers" on the dash of every Ford. Henry balked as he hated Jews so they arrived at a compromise and ever since when you get in a Ford you will see on the A/C switch Low-Norm-Hi-Max.
