Been getting lots of info here but thought I should say hi.

Finally got the 1968 Plymouth Satellite Sport fired up last weekend. Been setting in a field for about 30yrs.

Original 318 was junk. Parked with a blown head gasket and filled with water. Found the valves were rusted off and laying on the pistons.

Swapped in a donor '84 D150 318 block and heads. Crate motor and looked like new inside! Salvaged all the original 318 stuff I could like intake manifold, valve covers, carb and exhaust manifolds. Upgraded to electronic ignition and newer charging.

On to brakes...

Looks good, you saved her from slowly dying in a field.
That seems to be what I do. I've also saved a 1968 M715 and last fall I pulled a 1966 D100 out of a field as my next project. Saving cool old cars is a good feeling.
