She needs a lot of little things so I'm sure I'll be on here frequently looking for little things to bring her back to where I want her.
I'm also on FABO as well as I have a 67 Barracuda notchback

Any recommendations on where to start first would be of help. It's a 383/torqueflight 727 car that is color and interior correct. The body is solid, the paint is driver quality just a lot of chrome and polish issues. Front bumper is probably a loss. All the chrome is on the car but half of it is in pretty sad shape. Lot of maintenance to be performed on the entire car as it has set for the last 2.5 years. This is currently in the works:
  1. All new belts and hoses
  2. Front disc brake conversion as this is a heavy car and manual drums for a car I will drive and enjoy on a regular basis is not the smartest move. Brakes are not good so either drums are worn out or there is a lot of air in the brake lines.
  3. New valve covers (existing are not original and leaking badly.
  4. New water pump
  5. rebuild the power steering as it is leaking (pump and top of unit)
  6. needs a new oil pan and transmission pan gasket as they are leaking as well. oil change and tranny flush while we're at it
  7. lot of dry rotted rubber under the front end (new motor mounts, bushings for the control arms, tie rods, etc)
  8. Headlights work but don't flip so going to investigate what is needed there...leaning towards switch/wiring as not even hearing the motors try to engage when I flip the switch.
  9. pressure wash/clean the underside and the engine compartment to see what we got...car is really dirty.

Welcome to the Forum...

Nice looking charger you have there!

Welcome. The best color combo, in my opinion. Oldest brother had a 66 Coronet 500 383 4-spd in that color combo years ago, really liked that car.

Welcome. Beautiful interior, I'd be afraid to sit on those white seats. How about a picture of the Notchback?

I love the older chargers (66-67). Nice car - you'll enjoy whipping it into shape. Welcome to FBBO
