I didn't grow up with Dad, I honestly didn't know him, but after moving within walking distance at age nine I visited often all the way till he passed. No, he was not the best but not the worst. I corrected that with my kids. Men, stay with your kids, they need your presence.

My son knows who his dad is. I'm
a very lucky man, and whole heartedly
recognize that fact.
From little league to building a hot rod,
bonds are built.
There are times in the garage when
there is a difference of opinion as to
how a certain task or procedure is to
be accomplished. He's an adult, I
listen.
So sorry to hear you didn't have those
opportunities.
