Hi, I'm new to this site and am looking forward to picking your brains for input. I've been a mopar fanatic for many years but always owned everything except the car I've always wanted, I finally own it and am knee deep in the restoration. It's a 69 charger that will be farely modified for the street. The motor is a 456 stroker with a 727 trans. The body is left mostly stock except for it is now a shaker hood car, the bumpers have been tucked into the body, the engine compartment has been all welded up and smoothed out and will likely be lowered 1"-2" for a better stance. It will be tanglo pearl (orange) with a charcoal grey rump stripe and the american flag on the hood done in three tones of the charcoal (like the blacked out mopar hoods only with the american flag in it). Actually the flag is already done. Right now I'm working on rewiring the whole car with an aftermarket harness. Looking forward to chatting with all you mopar fanatics.

Very cool! My cars hok tangelo pearl.Bet its gonna look great. How about some pics of the hood and bumper massage.

Welcome! Post some car **** when you get a chance, never seen a shaker hood on a 69.

Thanks for joining the Forum!
Welcome aboard.
PS: I spent 12 wonderfull years in Dayton, Wright-Patt AFB. Loved every minute of it.
BIG Mopar following there. Your lucky!
Send pics!
PS: Are you building your own harness OR did you purchase? (inquiring minds want to know)
Awesome car and "SWEET" engine!

I will be posting pictures soon but promise not to send hate messages "the shaker hood is a mach mustang scoop". In my defense, I had drawn up what I wanted it to look like and it just so happened it looked alot like a mustang scoop. Where would I post the pictures on this sight "which catagory". The harness is an AMERICAN made universal harness I'll have to look at the name again but I really like it. So far it's been pretty easy to install and allows for additions like my power seats, electric fan and so on. Look for pictures soon

Welcome, can't wait to see pic's. Tangelo pearl is an awesome color

Devin, welcome...Now we want photos..photos

Going to try and post pictures tonight but thought I'd mention that I changed my username, must not have read it well thought it was asking for my actual name it's now 747mopar.
