Great site. I have a 69 Road Runner that I am starting to restore. Its a post car with the spring special package. It has a 383 and auto. I enjoy looking at the resto photos posted here, it gives me hope that mine will get done. My dad just bought a 65 Belvedere so it light a fire under me to get this car done. I have owned the car for 12 years now. Thanks.

Brian

welcome to FBBO, I'm a big fan of RR's especially 68's & 69's but have owned many from 68-71's, I'm on #13 currently...

Welcome aboard!
Thans for joining the site.
Nice car.
In your post you state: "it had 383 and auto"
Does this mean it has a non 383 in it?
Are you going to 440 "6 BBL" it?
Roadrunners are "way cool"
Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks. Good catch. It has #matching engine and trans. I would like to build a stroker motor and have it stock appearing like the F.A.S.T class cars, but for now it will remain the stock 383. I have a 440 block to build up when Im ready.

Yeah, the 383 is a great engine.
Wow, what a "PLUS". A matching numbers Roadrunner!

Welcome, Brian! Nice car!

Has your Runner been in the garage for 12 years? We'll have to get together and compare projects.
