new to the forum but not to mopar. my first car was a 69 sport satellite that i bought in 1980...had that car for 20 years but had to sell it for seed money for my company. my wife begged me not to sell it as i would regret it forever...she was right! she and my sister chipped in some cash on my 40th birthday for the 66 satellite that i have now, picked it up in georgia(great road trip!) and i've been picking away at it ever since. 440 auto with a one legged rear. looks like a great site to get info and i hope i can add to it as well. have a great day. ron

Welcome to FBBO Ron! Looks like you are going to have fun with your new '66. BTW: Your wife and sister are dolls for getting that for you.

thanks gtx i wanted a 67 but the 66 was such a great deal i couldn't pass it up. i've changed the grill and taillights to 67 so i'm getting the look i wanted in the end...don't anyone shoot me it's not a numbers matching car!!! and i do consider myself lucky to have a wife that supports my hobby...and is my number one hobby as well.

i did think of staying with the white buck but i think i'm going to go silver. had to replace the front floors and the spare wheel well was rotten so i dropped in a fuel cell so i had more room to move the springs in.
