It’s got 81k on it, not a perfect car, few small rust holes and leather seats need a little repair, gas tank, lines etc. also need attention but I’ll enjoy bringing it back

I have a thing (Out of the closet) for Pontiacs, Tin Indians & Ponchos
had quite a few GTOs, bunch of gen 2, 3, 4 Trans Ams & 1st gen Firebird 400s
71 Formula 400, also had a later Formula Firehawk 'SLP Performance' 1992

you could bump up the power on that anemic 301
a good free flowing exhaust, shorty headers maybe/mid length
nice modern intake & decent carb (or use what it has), gauze air-filter (like K&N)
higher rocker ratio, pick up 40-50 hp & still be really dependable too
some wider tires, good shock & new sway-bar bushing, brakes (?) go have fun

It was the kicks back when the show was on, 'Do a Rockford turn.' I did it a few times and much earlier once unintentionally when racing a guy backwards. How I didn't find the ditch or a mailbox nearby I'll never know. Pure good luck.
