Hey folks need some identifying help. I got a seat of high back bucket seats that are for a 1970 Plymouth Road runner, GTX or Super Bird. Thing is they don't use the plastic back, from what I can tell. And the seat pivot does not have a slider thing on the outside but rather uses a T-handle that pulls up a hook that catches on the seat base center. Another truly flat out bizarre thing is the seat back had no springs. I know pictures would help but I realize now I should have taken some. It was the factory foam I tore off, real fun. It was the injection molded foam. They have the outer frame things but nothing attaching them to the back frame. And I know it was OE foam because of how I had to rip it out of the rolled over lip going around the frame.
I am trying to figure out what goes on the back of these are well as locating 2 torsion springs for the latch release. Has anyone ever ran into this? I have never seen factory seats without some kind of springs. If anyone can post a picture of the back of the front seats without the plastic panel I would appreciate it.
