The last thing you want to do in a Viper is try to race on cold tires. There may be 13 inches of rubber on both the rear tires, but when they are cold it might as well be ice.

I'm just glad he was able to get out under his own power and be able to walk.
No-one there should have let him walk at that point.
He was likely in shock could have any number of internal injuries.
Pretty amazing what a person can do in shock.
Trained medical personnel should have checked him out.

That was crazy stupid on a city signal light. Damn lucky he didn't hurt anyone. And we wonder why insurance rates are so high?

I grew up running street in the NYC area back in the day. I used to hit at least a dozen spots all over. I could write a book.
