Anyone tried a pair of these on a cross-ram or other 2x4-barrel app?

No, I haven't, but they make a ton of sense to me for use on a non-stroker street car....ton of sense, just as long as you can get linkages to work.

I agree. With my 600 cfm Comp Carters, I know I'm not using 1200 cfm at WOT/5500 rpm with my non-stroked 413. 390's sell for about $500 on line. I found some on ebay for $200 each, but they come from China. Huh???

Gotta love those Horreys!

can't see why not. smaller bores will give better throttle response and fuel atomization and distribution. You right, the motor doesn't need 1000 cfm on it's best day. 780 cfm will feed it just fine.
