What are you running for ignition? If it's Pertronix then it might be OK so long as the choke heater doesn't suck the guts out of the ignition circuit. I'm not sure how many amps the choke draws. With Chrysler electronic I'd say no since both wires come from the box. You might be best to find a separate "key on" power source. I probably should measure this myself, but what about the 12V side of the voltage regulator?
