Some previous "bodyman" removed all the hood support caulk on my hood causing it to flutter at speed. Can anyone recommend some material that would look & function something like original? Would like it to be paintable & not degrade with engine heat. My plan was to inject it in the middle of the bracing with a hose or tube to duplicate the round globs on original hoods.

I don't think it is seam sealer.. What I am looking for would probably be out of a tube and squirted in to the gap between the brace and the sheet metal, I am not sure if that's what the OP was asking about..

To clarify I was looking for something that I could use with a caulking gun where I could inject into the gap between the hood & bracing, see pic from trunk.

You would probably want to use 3m fusor
they use it to glue together body panels
instead of welding.

Probably find the stuff your looking for at a auto paint supply house.
I checked on it years ago, but don't remember what it's called. Some 3M product, that's the same as the factory used. Could be fusor, like flypaper says.

used evercoat maxim 100815 bonding adhesive worked good can use regular calk gun I used it on my hood when I didn't use the proper tool to cut hole for hood scoop but it is real easy to get high and low spots when regluing but did the job.

What you're referring to is anti-flutter foam. Available at your body supply dealer. I use fusor, needs a special gun.
