Hooker Blackheart 304 SS Exhaust system questions?

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on the 2.5" Blackheart exhaust system through Mancini. The question I have
is, has anyone used one of these systems on a stock B-Body with a stock crossmember? I know the kit is for a
late model Hemi swap, but everything should be the same except the spacing on the pipes as they go through
the inverted humps in the torsion bar crossmember. $850.00 is a pretty good price for 304 Stainless compared
to what everyone else wants for aluminized steel and "Junk" 409SS! Anyone with some knowledge? 68 GTX.

Not the same year, but I did buy the hooker stainless kit for the 66-67 b-bodies. I have their headers on a gen 3 hemi. I built a gear vendors 727 for it, so I have some mods to do on the h-pipe.
What I will say is the quality and fit is excellent, as good or better than many TTI kits I've installed. I'm very impressed with all of the Holley stuff for b-bodies.

I bought the system from Mancini and is on backorder. I will deal with the cross member fit when I get there. I need to assemble the system from the rear to the front to make sure everything fits. Holly couldn't tell me any measurements, so I'm on my own! I'll post pic's while I'm doing it. Thanks!

Not trying to bust your bubble, but John Cope has a 518/O.D. trans with a convertor that works
very nice and is actually cheaper than the G.V option? www.crt.com. He also has a nice video
about the setup on YouTube. Just sayin!

Yeah, I know! But I've had the gear vendors set-up sitting here for years, so I figured this was the car to beat the trans tunnel with a BFH if I had to.

2-1/2" Blackheart system just got delivered. Hot Damned! Looks good. Now to get the engine
and trans in and start putting it together!
