Need opinions and advice. I've decided to install a "hot switch" on the car so when I start the car I can get the assy. turning then hit the switch to energize the ignition circuit. currently, it's like all;
fire to the plugs off the key/start mode.
I know a lot of you guys do this with your strip cars. The reason I want to is generally the same, bucking the starter especially when hot.
Here's the question; in the past I've simply toggled the Positive side of the coil. But I've always ran points. any issues with this setup on electronic ignition? Or is there a better way to do this off the ignition lead at the switch.
'64 Dodge, if it matters.
Thanks.
