Housing prices are going bonkers in Colorado Springs

Here too. 250 people a day moving here. Plates on the commute..California, washington Oregon and Utah.

Crap, if everyone is leaving California maybe I’ll stay.

Just bought in the county a year ago and up 8% already. My old house in the city 100 miles away has gone up 9%. I don't understand it.

We didn't learn from the last housing bubble...
Hope we don't have to bail the industry out again on our dime

We paid 77K for a fix up 1100 sf rental property in 2015.

Comps were 90-110.

Just got ins bill last week. Trying to say it's worth 200K!

way better than under the last 2 prev. admin.'s
I lost $200k on my last place, a duplex, from its highpoint values
& sold in, took 2 years time :soapbox: nobody was buying at sale prices
from Nov. 2007 to Dec. 2009, fucken' sucked ***, housing markets crashed
a previous $500k setup sold for $295k, with the buyers paying all fees

I wish I would have bought a bunch more
when the market was really hurting
especially at the current interest rates under 3%

I still made $$$ about $175k,
from when I bought it right in 1997 for $120k :jackoff:
but a lot less $$$$ than I would have made currently,
it's more than made up for it, under the current admin. :D

a seller's market in many paces now
