i lov da a100 p/u's . just grabbed a dash shifter from a 66 up one that uses the one control cable going to swap out the early cable 727 from my 60 d100 build . for the later 727 . at least thats the thoughts , it could go to another build as well .

i just look at that a100 closer , man is that thing clean or what . and it still using the loadflite in it with the user mount in use . i have one i thought it would be a cool drag gasser trans behind a early hemi . with that mount in use like that . have seen it done on early funny ''flopper bodied'' cars .

I have just recently had the transmission rebuilt...can't wait to go for a fang down the quarter in it.

well i'm one guy . with lots of projects , so if they move along slowly , i'm just one guy , lol . and i build costly stuff in some cases . it always the little details what set thing back . or me just through out the new plan for that rod . and i would rather build it myself in most fab cases . and some the tool costed more than the part , but it multiplies on multiple vehicles . thanks to me the hard stuff is founded in most cases . it all about doing them right over getting them done . here's my austin a40's i'll build two gassers from the three . one 2dr coupe and one p/u , both blown early hemis , one auto , one stick . the stick one maybe unblown . still thinking on them .

luckly i found a tranny guy that likes working out , so no more hunting . he is so exact about whats going together and mostly how it fits together . my trans worries are no more . just had him build me a customized early bb cable shifter with the 71 up front pump n long bushing . it should make orangy's hp 383 respond nicely .
