HOW COME you have to be so close to me?

Couple of months ago, in my Belvedere, I was in the right lane of a two lane Interstate- two lanes in the same direction. No one around me and I’m doing 70ish and some guy catches up to me and starts riding my ***. The left lane is wide open and this goes for a couple miles. I sped up to get him off my *** and throttle back to 70 and the guy catches up to me again and rides my ***. I move to the left lane and he passes me and motors down the road. WTF?

Or road tripping down the freeway in my ol truck with cruise control set about 5 above the limit, and have somebody pass me, get in front and slow down. That one makes me want to whip out the .45 almost as much as the ones who speed up when you try to pass them.

My solution for tailgatiers. I tap the brakes light several times not slowing my vehicle. If they do turn back off and stay away. I then just tap the brakes and let the car coast until they pass. I’ll add I might wait to a double yellow to do the later if they have pissed me off.

Or the idiot tourists who arrive at the bottom of a London Underground escalator and stop when they step off.

All of a sudden there's dozens of people piling into them. I have seen it happen several times.

4 lane freeway, late at night, light traffic, one moron right behind me, apparently infatuated with the tailgate on my truck.

Common occurrence on SOCAL freeways: bizzie 4 lanes at speed, always a couple have-to-pass-everyone jumping in/out of traffic. Favorite pastime, spot them coming up my right side, gradually close distance to car ahead so they can't jump in.

So glad I don't live within 60-80 miles of any freeway...
gave that crap up 20 years ago

lots of blue hairs here slowing people down

my worst here is tourists going up country slowing to like
20-25 in a 45-55 zone to make a turn,
not even a sharp turn or blind turn, often crossing the lane too
almost as bad going down hill, they ride the brakes the whole way
going 20 under the speed limit, no driven Ivan's or Eve's

flatlanders (valley or shitty & apartment dwellers), just can't drive here
how to blind them ? just put a windshield in front of them :poke:
scared of their own shadow, even in broad daylight, young & old alike
they need to stick to the busses/mass transit, they are used to

(most car guys, towing race trailers & car trailers, will pull to the right, common decency)

A--holes towing a Rv trailers, or obvious Rv rentals
many going 10-15 miles under the speed limit, when it's only like 45, their going 30
or damn slow pokes (not even pulling a trailer) that don't pull to the right,
or pull off, to let all the normal, line of cars/trucks or drivers all pass
"in passing zones"

Tourists (valley/shitty dwellers);
looking for something or a turn off holding up a 'line of locals, going way back'
always playing/staring into or on their cell phones or GPS/nav systems

Taking traffic rules into the stores...walk in the right hand side of the aisle. It's where you drive. No reason for both halves of the aisle to be people going the same direction, especially when people (me) are trying to go the other way.
And if you're gonna stop and look...get the **** out of the way! You don't have to block the whole aisle with your fat *** AND your cart, while you decide which type of Oreos you need....

Today, on my way to Homeless Depot at a 4 way stop sign, I arrived first as a ricer Honda driver drove up rather fast and abruptly. Not wanting to deal with him behind me, I waved him through, no problem.
He actually beeped and waved in appreciation. Uh okay. Ironically, he was going to Homeless Depot too!

Last week I left an intersection on a road with 2 lanes in each direction. I was first out of the gate as always since I'm a leadfoot.

Some guy, maybe early 30s speeds up to get next to me. It is a 55 zone, I run it up to 65 and he speeds up too. I maintain 65, he runs right alongside. He had a woman and 3 or 4 kids in the truck, none buckled in.
I stabbed the brakes and of course, he slowed down too. The idiot tried to mirror my every move. Finally he just speeds away and a distance forms between us. By the way, hardly any traffic was on this road.
I saw him pull into a gas station so I pulled in behind him. He just drove back out and to the gas station across the street. The wife wanted soda so I got a couple from the mini mart there then went back to the truck when I saw him across the street. I pulled in behind him again and he nervously sped away.
I wanted to tell him that intentionally driving next to others is stupid and doing so with unsecured minors is even more so.

I think I dealt with everything mentioned above on my 571 mile trek to Carlisle today. Some stupid I don't know where I am going **** and some really dangerous daring crap at 80 MPH just to gain a position. I just maintain an average of 8 over the limit and just cruze.

Yes. The wife gets PISSED at people that daydream or block access in the aisles in stores.
Me too. Especially at Costco. If you're lost or not sure, move to the side of the road. Don't ffn block it. Have your family/freind reunions somewhere other than the middle of the aisle. It doesn't require 6+ family members to shop. Etc, etc.
